My internets pal Ethel, in a fit of boredom, posted the contents of her desk drawer. I don't have a particularly interesting drawer, but there is some fun stuff on my desk. I originally took 3 pictures, but only one has arrived. The camera phone to hotmail transfer process is not the best, but it's what I got.

Successful West Virginians

Have you ever noticed that in the story of most successful West Virginians, the phrased "moved away from West Virginia" appears? I've noticed this well before now, but a called just mentioned it on a local radio show to remind me. Homer Hickam of October Sky/Rocket Boys fame... moved away. Mary Lou Retton... moved away. Chuck Yeager... moved away.
I could go on, but I think you get my drift.
